What i have learned through the videos about the internet is that the internet can be a wonder full place yet it has many dangers as well. The internet can be very complicated to understand but very easy to use. What the videos helped me learn and understand is how it works and how much data must be processed to send just one message. The way that the internet sends and receives messages, pictures, and videos is through a cord that connects around the world being able to send messages within seconds of time. Although this is very amazing it can also be a scary place due to hackers who are able to take over anything that is electronic like phones, computers. and drones. The hacker can also take over your accounts that have personal information like your address, your credit card pin, or even your social media accounts. Although there is many dangers on the internet there are people that specialize in ways to prevent these hackers from causing harm to you and are looking for new ways to make it more secure. One amazing thing i learned about the internet is that our next war may not be fought in combat but through the internet by taking out our security systems or shutting down our power. Something that fascinated me when learning about the internet is how to secure data when it is being transferred from one area to another. Which is by encrypting a code to that data allows it to switch letters or input numbers into the data so it wont be able to read until it is received.
